Did we come here with a purpose? [coming soon]
Explore ideas about the soul, incarnation, soul purpose, soul contracts, and what we may—or may not—choose before a life begins.
Across cultures and throughout human history, people have wondered what, if anything, exists beyond the physical self.
Do we have a soul? Does consciousness continue after the body dies? Have we lived before? Do we choose something about the lives we enter? Are there people we somehow recognize before we really know them? Can those who have died still reach us? And where do ideas like spirit guides, soul contracts, reincarnation, and starseeds fit into all of this?
We don't have to know the answers to find the questions worth asking.
Ideas about reincarnation suggest that our story may not begin at birth.
Some people describe memories they believe come from previous lives. Others experience an unexplained familiarity with a place, person, culture, or period of history. There are children who have made unusual claims about previous lives, and researchers have spent decades documenting some of those reports.
Then there are spiritual ideas that take the question even farther.
Soul purpose. Soul contracts. Pre-birth planning. Soul groups. The possibility that certain relationships or experiences may have been chosen—or agreed upon—before we arrived here.
And more recently, ideas such as starseeds ask an even larger question about where consciousness itself might originate.
What do we make of all of it?
Maybe that's worth exploring.
Most of us have met someone who felt immediately familiar.
Perhaps the oldest question of all is what happens when we die.
Near-death experiences. Deathbed visions. Terminal lucidity. Apparitions. Visitation dreams. After-death communication. Mediumship. Signs people associate with loved ones who have died.
None of these questions are new.
What has changed is our ability to document experiences, compare accounts, study aspects of consciousness, and ask new questions about phenomena humans have been describing for a very long time.
Maybe death is an ending.
Maybe it's a transition.
Maybe the answer is something we haven't imagined yet.
